Fashion Round-up: Spring Florals

April has arrived and spring is officially in bloom! The past week in London has been cold and rainy, but the sun is starting to peak out from behind the clouds, and warm days are on the horizon. Make your wardrobe flourish with fun florals that will brighten up any day. This season, floral patterns were everywhere on the Spring 2015 runways. Make this trend office appropriate by pairing a floral piece with neutrals for a professional look. Below are some of my favorite floral pieces you can add to your wardrobe this spring.

1. The Floral Sheath Dress

Choose a dress with a fun pattern and simple, more reserved style, to keep the look office professional. The sheath dress is a classic silhouette that looks great paired with a blazer and simple pumps.

2. Floral Pumps

What better way to add hint of floral than with a floral pump?! I am sure Carrie Bradshaw would agree, these Manolo Blahnik heels are to die for! The bright floral print looks perfect with a blush, pencil skirt.

3. Floral Print Blouse

Invest in a few patterned blouses to pair with black, navy or nude trousers for the office. An easy outfit to put together in the morning, this look will be right on trend this spring.

4. Floral Midi Skirt

The 50's inspired midi skirt is back on trend this season, and this classic silhouette always looks chic and professional. The skirt above has pleats and a fun, pop-art floral pattern that looks modern and timeless.

5. The Floral Tote Bag

If you are wary of floral patterns, ease into the trend with a floral tote bag. This accessory adds a pop of color and pattern to any office look, without being overpowering. Definitely a must-have this spring.

6. Printed Floral Sunglasses

Ready to fully embrace the floral trend?! Try some floral sunglasses. Gucci makes an incredible retro pair pictured above, but Nordstrom's PB line also has some that are super affordable.

7. Floral Jacket

A floral coat can be a complete showstopper piece for your professional wardrobe. A statement jacket looks great with neutral suits, and adds serious style to a basic office outfit.

Happy Spring! Leave your comments and questions for Polished Pinstripes below. What is YOUR favorite way to wear floral?!
