Tips and Trends: Workout Wednesday


With warm weather just around the conner, it's time to start fitting in some extra workouts just in time for summer. Below are three quick HIIT workouts you can do at home after work or first thing in the morning. Each set has 5 moves, and you do each move for 1 minute. Do the entire set through as many times as you can. The first set is a cardio set, designed to get your heart rate up. The second set is a resistance training set, designed to sculpt the body. The last set is an ab set, designed to tone all the different sections of the core. Grab some dumbbells, a towel and some weights - and let's get started!

Cardio Set 


1. Jumping Jacks
2. Squat Jumps
3. Skaters Side to Side
4. High Knees
5. Butt Kicks

Strength Set 


1. Squat with Shoulder Press
2. Lunge with Bicep Curls
3. Push Ups
4. Pliee Squat with Front Raise
5. Glute Kick Backs - 30 seconds each side

Ab Set 


1. Crunches
2. Bicycle
3. Scissors
4. Russian Twist
5. Plank
