New York Fashion Week: Fall 2015 Biggest Trends

It's that time of the year again - time to round up the biggest fall trends from New York Fashion Week. Spring may be just around the corner but fall fashion is all anyone can talk about this week. Here are some of the biggest trends for fall 2015 seen on the runway.

1. Fringe

Fringe was on the runway this season, strategically placed on coats, dresses, and purses. While this may seem like a difficult trend to pull off in a corporate setting, small amounts of fringe can be appropriate, and oh so fabulous.

2. Checkered and Plaid Prints

Checked and plaid prints will be definitely spotted this fall, and this trend works perfectly for coats, work dresses and pencil skirts. Fun prints are a great way to liven up your professional wardrobe.

3. Military Inspired

Military inspired coats and dresses were a big trend on the runway at New York Fashion week. Whether your take on this trend means army green, camouflage prints, or military inspired hardware, there are so many ways to wear this look.

4. Pop of Orange

Spotted on the runway was every shade of orange, from a pop of tangerine to hues of pale peach. This color will definitely be a part of fall fashion. Orange can work well in a professional wardrobe, as a pop of color paired with more neutral hues.

5. 70's Vibe

Bohemian chic and a 70's vibe was all the rage on the runway. From billowy pants, to bright hues and bold patterns, the 70's was alive and well at New York Fashion Week. Some of these trends might be a little extreme for the office, but adding one more subtle piece to a work outfit can be appropriate and on trend.
