Tips and Trends: Thanksgiving Packing Guide

Fall brings one of everyone's favorite holidays, Thanksgiving! While raveling over the river and through the woods can be hectic and chaotic, knowing how to pack effectively can remove a lot of the drama. Here are my tips for packing 5 fabulous outfits into a small carry-on for your Thanksgiving travels.

Thanksgiving Packing List

- 1 Pair of Jeans
- 1 Blazer

- 1 Pair Heels
- 1 Pair Flats

- 1 Cardigan + Camisole (Something to wear under it)
- 1 Statement Necklace

Outfit 1: (Wednesday) At the Office, then on a Plane

Wear a simple black work dress to the office on Wednesday with a warm blazer and comfortable pumps. For the plane, change into your flats and head to the airport with your carry-on to fly home for Thanksgiving.

Outfit 3: (Friday) Black Friday Shopping

Black Friday shopping is a yearly tradition in many families, but you will want to be comfortable for a long day of shopping! Pull out your favorite pair of jeans, add the flats that you wore on the plane and the cardigan that you wore over your dress on Thanksgiving, along with a camisole. If the weather is REALLY cold, pair the cardigan with a wool camisole for some extra warmth.

Outfit 4: (Saturday) Brunch with Family & Friends

Saturday is a great time to catch up with friends back home over brunch.  Wear your jeans and the camisole you wore to the mall, then top off the look with the blazer you wore to the office on Wednesday. If you want to make this outfit even more trendy, add your statement necklace and heels.
